Sarah Sinclair DNP, RN, NE-BC

Dr. Sarah Sinclair was appointed as Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services at New Mexico VA Health Care System in January/2023.

Dr. Sinclair began her nursing career 32 years ago in England, relocating to Albuquerque in 2004, she now holds dual citizenship dual citizenship. She started as a travel nurse in CVICU, then became full time charge nurse at the end of the contract. Her initial leadership role as manager of critical care in 2007, and she was subsequently promoted to director in 2009.

She returned to school to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in Nursing Education,
then took over the management of float pool, travel nursing and onboarding for health systems.

She relocated to Nashville and ran the Division float Pool for HCA,. During this time  she completed DNP, Health
Systems Leadership program in 2018. Dr. Sinclair returned to NM to be closer to family in
early 2019 and was appointed Director of Nursing at Presbyterian Hospital, prior to joining the NMVA in 2023.
