Orlando , FL — Orlando, Fla. – Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) proudly announces a vibrant celebration in honor of Native American Heritage Month, paying homage to the rich tapestry of indigenous cultures that have shaped our nation.

This ceremonial event will showcase a mosaic of traditions, featuring traditional foods, mesmerizing dances, and a sense of community that reflects the enduring spirit of Native American heritage. 

This engaging event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Lake Baldwin VA Clinic.

The event promises an immersive experience, offering attendees the opportunity to partake in the unique flavors of Native American cuisine, savoring the essence of cultural diversity. Culinary delights will include traditional dishes that symbolize the deep-rooted connection to the land and its bountiful offerings.

The celebration will further come alive with captivating dance performances, each telling a story through intricate movements and vibrant regalia. Guests can expect to be transported through time as they witness the rhythmic beats and graceful steps that echo the traditions of Native American tribes.
