Saginaw , MI — Aleda E. Lutz VAMC is hosting an event to raise awareness about the challenges Veterans with brain injuries may face.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the medical center’s auditorium, located at 1500 Weiss St, Saginaw, MI 48602 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Veterans, along with their caregivers and family members, will have the chance to learn about the services available for Traumatic Brain Injury. They can also speak to specialists in fields such as physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, prosthetics, and optometry/low vision. "If you have any questions regarding head injuries or have experienced a head trauma, this event is the perfect opportunity to discover the variety of services available for managing brain injuries," stated Robyn Hopper, Post 911 Military 2 VA & Polytrauma Social Work Supervisor. Additional programs, such as Whole Health, will be available to assist Veterans who would like to improve their overall well-being.
