Women Veterans Breast Cancer Awareness Event – October 4, 2023

Saginaw , MI — To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center is hosting a Women Veterans Breast Cancer Awareness Event on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sergeant Major Kenneth Verne Rice Pavilion, located at 1500 Weiss St. Saginaw, MI 48602.

All women Veterans are invited to attend. Guests will be able to enjoy Complementary and Integrative Health modalities such as acupuncture, acupressure, mini massages, and vibroacoustic therapy. A light lunch will be provided as well and other surprises.

During this event, we will provide valuable information, resources, and support to help women Veterans understand the importance of early detection, self-examinations, and available treatment options. Our goal is to empower and educate our brave women Veterans, ensuring they have the tools to take control of their breast health.
