Terri Sharp serves as the Associate Director for Patient Care Services/Nurse Executive for San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) since August of 2023.
Previously, Ms. Sharp was appointed the Deputy ADPCS of SFVAHCS starting in July 2018.
Ms. Sharp has over 21 years with the Veterans Health Administration. Prior to joining SFVAHCS, Ms. Sharp worked at Oklahoma City VA Health Care System from 2001 to 2018. She served as the Chief Nurse Outpatient Specialties in 2017 - 2018, the Chief Nurse SPS and the Surgical Procedure Care Service from 2010 through 2017, and the Nurse Manager of the Surgical Critical Care Unit starting 2001 to 2010.
Before joining Veterans Health Administration, Ms. Sharp worked in the private sector from 1991 to 2010, where she held multiple leadership positions. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing in May of 1991 from the University of Oklahoma and attended Southern Nazarene University where she obtained a Master of Science degree in May 2001.
