Kyleanne  is a Marine Corps Veteran and co-editor of the book Invisible Veterans: What Happens When Military Women Become Civilians Again,  where she explores finding her tribe after military service and other common struggles between female Veterans seeking to be seen in a culture where they don't quite fit and their struggles to find community and friendship. The book was a collaboration with Dr. Kate Hendricks Thomas, also a Marine Corps Veteran, whose tireless advocacy for burn pit exposure health conditions led to the creation of the Dr. Kate Hendricks Thomas Supporting Expanded Review for Veterans In Combat Environments (SERVICE) Act, signed into law on June 7, 2022.
