Veterans encouraged to get their flu shot

NASHVILLE , TN — Starting Sept. 8, Veterans enrolled in VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) can receive their free flu vaccination at select locations.
TVHS Veterans can get a flu shot at their next primary care or specialty clinic appointment. Veterans may also receive vaccinations via a walk-in appointment during the following times and locations:
- Nashville VA Medical Center: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Pod C
- Alvin C. York VA Medical Center: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., urgent care lobby
- Chattanooga VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoons), drive-thru clinic available
- Clarksville VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., drive-thru clinic available 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.
- Albion VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Athens VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoons)
- Bowling Green VA Clinic: Wednesdays 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Charlotte Ave. VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., first floor
- Gallatin VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- International Plaza VA Clinic: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., third floor
Visit the TVHS website for additional details on walk-in and drive-thru clinics. Veterans who are unable to get a flu shot at a TVHS location can visit an in-network provider near them.
