Tomah VA partnered with the Great Lakes Health Care System for the VISN 12 Mental Health Summit 2023 during Mental Health Month.
Tomah VA Medical Center and VA Great Lakes Health Care System (VISN 12) hosted the 2nd Annual VISN-wide Community Mental Health Summit! VISN stands for Veterans Integrated Services Network and region 12 serves Veterans in areas across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. The 2023 Mental Health Summit featured a guided discussion with retired Army Maj. Gen. Gregg Martin where he shared his experience with bipolar disorder. Our focus was on finding meaning and purpose in mental health recovery. The Summit took place May 9, 2023 and we invite you to view the recorded session on Facebook.
