The
Electronic Government Act of 2002 has several new privacy protection
provisions for Federal agencies. One is for agencies to conduct
Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for all new proposals for
IT systems collecting personal information of the public, and
to published them to the agency Web sites after the President
submits his or her budget to Congress. Listed below are the
PIAs for VA's qualifying systems for the upcoming fiscal year. |
