Erie VA Medical Center to host 2023 Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony

Erie , PA — Erie VA Medical Center is again pleased to invite local Veterans, their families, and community members to the annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
When: Saturday, November 11, 2023
Parade starts at 11 a.m.
Ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m.
Where: The Parade begins on the corner of 26th and State Streets, walking south on State Street and ending at the Erie VA Medical Center. The Ceremony occurs at the Jefferson School Auditorium located across from the Erie VA Medical Center. We invite and encourage the entire community to attend as we pay tribute to local Veterans.
Calling all Participants: There are two ways to get involved in the Parade and show your support.
1. Join the Parade Lineup!
All Veteran supporters are welcome to register and march in the Parade – you do not have to be Veteran or Veteran-related organization to march. To register, contact Erie VA Voluntary Services at 814-860-2454 or 814-860-2024.
2. Show your support from the sidelines!
We are asking the Erie community to line the streets and cheer on our Veterans. The Parade is an excellent opportunity for the region to display its appreciation for those who served our country.
Additional Bonus Event: Jeep Show
A Jeep Show featuring off-road enthusiasts club, Erie Jeep People, will be held in the Erie VA's front parking lot following the Parade. All jeep owners and fanatics are welcome to gather and mingle for the occasion.
