Hines VA Hospital to Host Job Fair on Jan. 28

Hines , IL — Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital will host an employment hiring fair in combination with an onboarding event on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held in the Building 9 Auditorium at Hines VA’s Main Hospital campus – 5000 S. 5th Ave., Hines, IL 60141.
Federal employment positions are available throughout the hospital and six outpatient clinics. Each quarter, Hines VA Hospital will place special emphasis on key vacant positions, although applicants are encouraged to reach out about other vacancies. This quarter’s special emphasis is for:
• Nursing Aides
• Housekeeping Aides
• Medical Support Assistants
Hines VA representatives will be available to answer questions. Applications will be accepted, and on-the-spot interviews will be available for select positions. Applicants must bring a current resume, two references with at least one being from a supervisor and two forms of identification. Applying Veterans must provide a Schedule-A Letter, DD-214 and Service-Connected Disability Letter, if applicable.
