Martinsburg VAMC Announces DAISY Award Recipient During Nurses Month

Martinsburg , WV — The Martinsburg VA Medical Center (VAMC) is proud to announce that Jewel Mosby, a registered nurse (RN) assigned to the Medical-Surgical Unit, is the latest recipient of the DAISY Foundation Award winner.
She firmly believes in VA’s mission of serving Veterans.
“I have experienced firsthand how important the VA is to the community,” says Mosby. “I’ve witnessed my grandmother, mother, aunts, and cousins serve Veterans at the VA, so it’s definitely in my blood.”
The announcement of her award falls during Nurses Month, which is celebrated each May to recognize the immeasurable contributions of nurses across the nation who provide safe, quality health care to our Nation’s Veterans.
