Veterans Health and Wellness Expo Co-Sponsored with the YMCA

Saginaw , MI — The Aleda Lutz VA Medical Center and the YMCA of Saginaw have partnered to host a Veterans Health and Wellness Expo.
There will be two opportunities to attend the event: Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Medical Center, located in the Pavilion at 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, and Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the YMCA of Saginaw, 1915 Fordney Street. “Holding the events on multiple days and at both locations is an opportunity to reach as many Veterans as possible to share the health and wellness resources available to them through the VA and community”, stated Sarah O’Dell, Assistant Chief, Office of Veteran Experience.
The events will provide Veterans and their families with information on resources available to support health and wellness, including nutritional support, mental health services, caregiver support, comfort and integrative therapies, as well as several other services that support traditional health care. Veteran Service Officers and Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs representatives will be available to answer questions and provide information to Veterans on their benefits. The Aleda E. Lutz VAMC in Saginaw, Michigan operates an 81-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation Community Living Center. It provides care to over 40,171 Veterans in a 35-county geographic area, from mid-Michigan to the Mackinac Bridge.
