Ms. Catano started her VA career in 2006 as an Administrative Officer at the Albany VA Medical Center. Previous duties include Facility Customer Service Manager and Patient Advocate, Project Manager; and, Program Manager. Ms. Catano has been a Program/Project Manager in the Office of Strategic Integration, managing a multitude of programs such as select initiatives included in the New Models of Health Care Portfolio, Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act (VACAA), and MyVA Access. She previously has served as VHA Acting Deputy Chief of Staff.

She holds a Senior Level certification in Program and Project Management, and Lean Green Belt. Ms. Catano served 22 years in the United States Air Force, and has been affiliated with a number of professional societies including the Air Force Association, Disabled Veterans of America, and the American Legion.

Ms. Catano received her Masters of Business Administration from Touro University and Bachelor of Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
