What is a firearm lockbox?
A lockbox is a strong, portable container used to safely store a firearm when it is not being used. It is made of steel or other composite materials and has a secure lock, like a key, number code, or fingerprint reader. A lockbox helps keep guns away from children, visitors, or anyone who should not have access. It allows the owner to reach the firearm when needed but keeps it securely stored to prevent accidents. Using a lockbox is a simple and smart way to stay safe at home or while traveling.
