Meeting Presentations - July 15 - 16, 2009
The Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans met at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington, D.C. on July 15 - 16, 2009. On the first day, the members met with representatives from Veterans Service Organizations who discussed their respective organization's resolutions and legislative activities relating to Gulf War I Veterans. The panel consisted of the following representatives:
- The American Legion, TAL, Denise Williams
- Paralyzed Veterans of America, PVA, Carl Blake
- Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW, Dennis Cullinan
- Disabled American Veterans, DAV, Adrian Atizado
The Committee also received a briefing from the Advisory Committee's data subcommittee. The remainder of the meeting was spent deliberating on the final report.
