Health Equity Coalition
Launched May 2013, the Health Equity Coalition is chaired by the OHE Executive Director, and is responsible for assuring:
- A comprehensive and aligned approach across VHA to tackle health and health care inequities;
- Availability of necessary resources for health equity initiatives and program; and
- Ongoing assessment of impact on improvement.
The committee works collaboratively with executive members across VHA, VA, as well as external organizations that have expertise in health equity.
