The goal of PACE is provide all inclusive care for the veterans in one location. PACE has doctors, nurses, occupational therapist, recreation therapist, physical therapist - comprehensive care for the patient on a day-to-day basis. What is different about PACE? It flips the traditional acute model on its head and enables the VA to focus on preventive medicine and to take care of the patient wherever they are.
