CaringBridge – Social support for Veterans, Service Members, and their families and caregivers with a free, secure, and private website to keep family and friends updated after diagnosis, illness, or injury and to coordinate help

Eldercare Locator – A public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging that connects you to services for older adults and their families – you can also call or text 800-677-1116 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET; there are also options to send an email or engage in an online chat

Family Care Navigator – A tool provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration that helps caregivers find state-specific resources on legal issues, government, health, and disability benefits, living arrangements, and services and education for caregivers

Health in Aging – Expert health information for older adults and caregivers, including how to locate a geriatrics health care provider

Meals on Wheels Association of America – Provides home-delivered meals to people in need, with availability in almost every community

National Adult Protective Services Organization – For help and support if you, or someone you know, are experiencing physical abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, financial exploitation, or neglect

National Aging and Disability Transportation Center – Promotes the availability and accessibility of transportation options for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers

National Institute on Aging – Online and written information about healthy aging and topics such as brain health, Alzheimer’s, healthy eating, and activity, as well as information about aging research programs and activities

Respite Locator – National Respite Care and Resource Network helps you find respite services in your area and has helpful publications about how to choose a respite provider, how to pay for respite care, and more
