![I promised myself I wouldn’t revert back to one of those Christmas/Easter people. If I’m just going [to church] and not really feeling like I truly have the faith required, then what am I doing? I want to feel like I belong to something…I don’t want to be religious. I want to have faith. If I’m centered faith-wise…I can just worship. ![That’s me in front of the van… I’m a volunteer driver for Disabled American Veterans. We pick up people who have chronic appointments. I feel their pain because I have [a lot of appointments], too. Volunteering with them is great for me, and to me it’s also a bit more tangible in terms of really seeing something that I’m doing working out well for somebody else. Marc joined the Navy in 2000 at age 32. He enjoys bowling, volunteering, and is an avid runner. His faith is important to him, and has sustained him through many difficult times.
