Contact Management

Disaster Response Contact Center is the designated contact center for VA in the event of regional disasters. The Health Resource Center is the virtual disaster site for both VA employees and Veterans.

First Party Contact Center responds to inquiries from Veterans and family members regarding copayment charges for medical care provided at VA health care facilities throughout the United States. For questions regarding a VA bill, please call the toll free number printed at the top of the Veteran Patient Statement.

Health Benefits Contact Center provides Veteran health benefits, eligibility and enrollment information through the Health Resource Center’s toll-free number, 877-222-VETS (8387) and email inquiry through Inquiry Routing Information System (IRIS), a VA web-based application.

Help Desk Support provides technical support to Veterans, family members, and caregivers accessing the MyHealtheVet and eBenefits portals.

  • The MyHealtheVet portal allows Veterans to access VA health care information and services.
  • The eBenefits portal is a central location for Veterans to manage their VA benefits and personal information.

Inquiry Routing Information System (IRIS) is an alternative method to ask questions about Veteran health benefits and eligibility. To ask a question, visit VA's Inquiry Routing Information System (IRIS). is a government-wide collection portal developed to make secure electronic payments to Federal agencies. The website assists Veterans in paying their VA bill by credit card or check. Veterans may logon to to use this service from their own computer.

Pharmacy Customer Care provides Veterans with timely, accurate information regarding routine Rx questions (how to order refills, when refills were mailed, etc.) that disrupt more pressing clinical demands of the local pharmacy. Veterans may access MyHealtheVet or call the phone number on their prescription bottle with pharmacy-related questions.

Wounded Warrior Resource Center is a collaborative effort between the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense that provides an appropriate level of service to returning OEF/OIF/OND Veterans. The Health Resource Center serves as the designated point of contact for the VA in support of this initiative.
