Find Your Librarian

VA library services are delivered by people as well as places. Across VA, librarians support staff through physical libraries, embedded services, and digital service models. Some facilities also rely on a non-library point of contact to help connect staff with library support.

Use the dropdown menu below to find your local librarian, your facility’s designated contact if local library services are no longer staffed, or another librarian in your VISN who may be able to assist you. Library staff can help with training, literature searches, alerts, reference support, and access to journals, books, and databases.

Some facilities now rely primarily on self-serve tools and local points of contact rather than directly staffed library services. The Library Network itself is not a national library, but supports librarians and library services across VA. Its staff may be able to help connect you with a field librarian when additional assistance is needed. Please contact the Library Network Office.
