Supervisor Ready

The Supervisor Ready – VHA Virtual Program is a VHA-wide leadership development program that targets non-supervisory Emerging Leaders and Team Leaders aspiring to be a supervisor in a healthcare setting.  The program is conducted entirely online over the course of three months.

Supervisor Ready prepares a new cadre of potential supervisors to meet the challenges of a 21st century VHA. Participants will learn fundamental competencies and concepts of the supervisor dynamic in a healthcare setting, specifically; accountability, decisiveness, political savvy, resilience, strategic thinking and technical credibility.  Participants will also learn key principles of servant and ethical leadership.
