The purpose of the VHA-wide talent review process is to identify, assess, and develop future talent, as part of leadership succession planning for those employees who aspire to become a Medical Center Director or Chief of Staff in the next two years. The Institute for Leadership, Education and Development (ILEAD) is helping VHA, VISNs, and medical centers plan for future leadership needs by facilitating this review process.
