Learn more about OSDBU Small Business Outreach Programs.
The Federal Contractor Certification is a VOSB contractor training program for Veteran small business owners intended to help them understand Federal contracting, respond competently to solicitations and perform successfully once they have won the contract. This is a joint project of the VA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC) with the assistance of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).
FCC is a self-paced program with course modules spread across multiple levels of certification. Most course modules are offered through DAU at no cost to the Veteran. Each level concludes with a comprehensive level examination.
Completion of the FCC program does not guarantee contract awards. It provides training to enable Veteran-Owned Small Business owners to pursue business opportunities with the Federal government and to perform well on a contract award.
