The Opportunity Showcase (OSC) is a way to assist VA Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs) with face to face market research for Small Businesses with specific NAICS codes for their future requirements. The OSC provides Small Businesses an opportunity to directly connect and market their capabilities, as well as network with decision makers and other VA acquisition staff. Opportunity Showcase is a structured event, with a specific time limit allocated to each session and features Small Businesses with specific NAICS codes to their specific Industry and PDMs related to that industry.
There are two basic components of the Opportunity Showcase model. The first formal portion is the Business Requirement Session, which will provide an overview from the PDMs on projected future business requirements. The second component is the Networking Roundtables. Small Businesses, with the specific NAICS codes that have already registered will meet face to face with the PDMs and introduce their capabilities to the PDMs. The Opportunity Showcase also gives Small Businesses the chance to network with other Small Businesses in attendance.
