The length of time necessary to provide a determination will vary based on:

- Whether site visit is necessary
The Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) seeks to complete all initial determinations within 60 days of receiving a complete application. Many applicants fail to provide all the required documents with their initial application submission.
CVE cannot initiate an examination until all required documents have been provided. The 60-day examination period does not begin until CVE receives a complete application.
