VA Pain Management Research

Because pain is common among Veterans, chronic pain and its treatment is considered a priority area for VA research. VHA pain research examines the prevalence and incidence of common painful conditions as well as the effectiveness of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain treatment approaches.
