What's Changed?

Revisions to the VA Acquisition Manual (VAAM) subpart M822.12, Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers Under Service Contracts

Purpose: To notify the VA acquisition workforce of revisions to the VA Acquisition Manual (VAAM) subpart M822.12, Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers Under Service Contracts.

VAAR/VAAM Parts Impacted: VAAM subpart 822.12

Effective Date: June 5, 2020.

Expiration Date: N/A

Background: The VAAM subpart M822.12 is removed due to the publication of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) final rule at 85 FR 27087, with an effective date of June 5th, 2020. The final rule removes the FAR subpart 22.12 on nondisplacement of qualified workers.

Applicability: This Acquisition Policy Flash applies to all VA acquisition workforce members.

Action Required: The VA acquisition workforce shall comply with the requirements of the VAAM Update Number 2020-03.
