Direct Access Program Logo

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) plays a large role in ensuring that programs, services, and support resources reach the Veteran small business community.

Direct Access Program (DAP) offer unique opportunities for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) to build partnerships, maximize networking, and gain access to Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs) through Direct Access Events (DAEs).

DAEs provide access to procurement opportunities through structured, screened, and periodic events which are comprised of a business opportunity session, networking tables, and education. There are two categories of DAEs: National Veterans Small Business Engagement and Business Opportunity Showcases.

National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE)

NVSBE Save the Date: October 31 - November 2, 2018

NVSBE is the premier event for VOSBs to connect with PDMs, program specialists, and contracting experts from the federal and commercial marketplaces.

NVSBE directly connects VOSBs with PDMs from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), other federal agencies, state government, as well as large firms with small business needs—and provides training opportunities to improve the capabilities of small businesses to successfully compete for procurement contracts.
