VA FSS is incorporating clause 52.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors In order to implement guidance issued by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (Task Force) pursuant to Executive Order 14042. Specifically, the clause will be added only to 621 I Professional and Allied Healthcare Staffing Services and 621 II Medical Laboratory Testing and Analysis Services schedules and contracts, and is not being implemented under any other VA/FSS Schedules or contracts at this time. Affected contractors will receive contract modification instructions during the week of 10/25/2021. Signed modifications are to be submitted by November 14th to the assigned Contract Specialist. Please do not submit questions to the FSS Helpdesk on this topic. Questions should be directed to the assigned Contract Specialist for 621I and 621II or to William.Satterfield@va.gov and Aretha.Spurlock@va.gov. (October 2021)
