Procurement Readiness Overview
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), hosts business development webinars to help entrepreneurs become procurement ready and posture themselves to do business with VA.
Procurement readiness is the demonstrated ability of a business to effectively participate in the contracting marketplace and successfully meet contract requirements. This training is ideal for new business owners, businesses unfamiliar with the term "procurement readiness" and are interested in Doing Business with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). During this training participants will learn about some basic information needed to do business, various ways to become procurement ready, where to locate procurement opportunities with VA and ways to analyze a solicitation to identify procurement requirements.
