This dedication gets results: VA earned an “A” on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s FY 2024 Procurement Scorecard, reaffirming our leadership and enduring commitment to helping Veteran entrepreneurs prosper through federal contracting.

🏆Prime Contracting Highlights
- $10.2B or 23% of total prime contract dollars to SDVOSB, far exceeding the 5% statutory goal and VA’s internal goal of 15%
- 2,300+ SDVOSB firms received awards, reflecting a 3% increase in participation over the prior year.
- $8.4B+ or 19.54% awarded through SDVOSB set-asides reinforces our Vets First commitment.
🔧Subcontracting Successes
- $9.7B or 31.88% of total subcontracting dollars to small businesses, nearly doubling its subcontracting goal of 17.5%.
- First time VA has exceeded its target since FY 2021.
- WOSB subcontracting rose by more than two percentage points, from 1.73% in FY 2023 to 4.19% in FY 2024.
