| The National Acquisition Center is responsible for supporting the health care requirements of VA as well as the needs of other Government agencies. | The Commodities and Services Acquisition Service (CSAS) provides direct and assisted national contractual support for prosthetic commodities, audiology equipment and supplies, and home telehealth equipment managed by the Denver Logistics Center. The Denver Logistics Center (DLC) provides holistic supply chain management for designated VA Clinical Programs and supports VA and Other Government Agencies (OGA) with professional logistical and related services. Commodities managed include worldwide order fulfillment and distribution of hearing aids, hearing aid accessories, cochlear implants, assistive devices, batteries, prosthetic socks, orthotic soft-goods, aids for the visually impaired, telehealth messaging devices and peripherals. The DLC also manages the VA’s only hearing aid repair program by providing eligibility verification, problem diagnosis, hearing aid programming retrieval, cleaning, repairs, vendor management, and quality control. |
