DIVERSITY & INCLUSION IN VA COUNCIL

Formerly the VA Diversity Council (VADC), the Diversity and Inclusion in VA Council (DIVAC) serves as an independent executive level body that provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on areas related to diversity and inclusion. The Council comprises representatives from each of the Department's major organizations, staff offices, and stakeholders. It serves as communication link between the workforce, subcomponent organizations, and VA leadership, and as a clearinghouse on diversity and inclusion issues. Read the 2016 DIVAC Charter [PDF].
